The export business is diverse and often requires measures that are unknown in domestic business.
We advise our clients on the agreement of Incoterms, payment processing in foreign trade, packaging regulations, necessary documents, foreign trade restrictions, and much more.
Value-added tax is particularly important in foreign trade, as various exemptions provide relief.
However, the conditions must always be met (e.g., proof of export), and especially in international transactions with multiple participants (chain transactions), the regulations are extensive and complex.
Numerous regulations must also be observed when importing goods from third countries.
In addition to import duties (customs and import VAT), importers must consider their role as distributors and thus the responsibility for the marketability and product safety of the imported goods.
